Snail Mail

The cost of sending a letter by first class mail use to be 33 cents for the first ounce and an additional 22 cents for each additional ounce or portion of an an ounce through 13 ounces. Create a coordinate graph that clearly represents the cost of mailing a letter that weighs 4 ounces or less. You must submit your graph via e-mail. Make it large enough to be seen in a ppt. You may work individually or in pairs to accomplish the task.
Tip: You may want to generate a table to examine the relationship first.

Extra credit: Submit an additional graph in Excel, you must have the first graph to receive the extra credit for the graph in Excel. Good Luck!!! :-)

The mail costs $.33 for one ounce, then 22 cents/oz afterwards, so its 33+22x.

So it will be
$1.21
$.99
$.77
$.55
